Four hundred cataract surgeries using the IOL Master 500 were completed with absolute success.

The first 400 cataract surgeries performed by ophthalmic surgeon Dr. Konstantinos Chatzinikolas have been successfully completed.
 In all cases, the intraocular lens (IOL) power was calculated using the IOL Master 500, the most advanced biometry device worldwide, which measures and determines the exact lens power to be implanted in the eye after the cataract is removed.

This device is the only one of its kind on the island of Rhodes and one of the few available in Greece. It is the most modern, the fastest, and the most accurate biometry system worldwide for calculating the intraocular lens used in cataract surgery.

Patients’ vision on the very first postoperative day was at excellent levels, reaching approximately 90 percent.

The results of the IOL power calculations performed with the IOL Master 500 for the cataract surgeries carried out by Dr. Konstantinos Chatzinikolas showed an accuracy rate of up to 99.5 percent!!!

Ολοκληρώθηκαν με επιτυχία από τον χειρουργό οφθαλμίατρο κο Χατζηνικόλα Κωνσταντίνο , οι πρώτες 400 επεμβάσεις καταρράκτη ασθενών στους οποίους ο υπολογισμός του φακού  έγινε με το iol master 500, το πιο σύγχρονο  (παγκοσμίως) μηχάνημα βιομετρίας και το οποίο είναι το μηχάνημα που μετράει και μας πληροφορεί για τη δύναμη του φακού που θα μπει μέσα στο μάτι , αφού αφαιρεθεί ο καταρράκτης.

Το μηχάνημα  αυτό  είναι το μοναδικό στη Ρόδο και από τα λίγα στην Ελλάδα. Είναι το πιο σύγχρονο , το πιο γρήγορο μηχάνημα και αυτό με τη μεγαλύτερη ακρίβεια (παγκοσμίως) του υπολογισμού του ενδοφακού που μπαίνει μέσα στο μάτι σε μια επέμβαση καταρράκτη.

Η όραση των ασθενών ήδη από την πρώτη ημέρα ήταν σε πάρα πολύ καλά επίπεδα, πλησιάζοντας στο 90%.

Τα αποτελέσματα του υπολογισμού, με το iol master 500, των φακών που μπήκαν στα μάτια που έκαναν επέμβαση καταρράκτη από τον οφθαλμίατρο κο Χατζηνικόλα Κωνσταντίνο, έδειξαν ότι η ακρίβεια του μηχανήματος αγγίζει το 99,5 %!!!
